Taxco es famoso por los penitentes que participan durante la Semana Santa. Hay tres tipos de penitencias: 1.- Los " Flagelantes " y las " Ãnimas ". Los Participantes de las penitencias son gente preregistrada con un año de anticipación y a lo largo de año tienen que hacer ejercicios espirituales y siempre van encapuchados, ya que su objetivo es expiar sus culpas y no de exhibicionismo.
Taxco is famous for participating penitents during Holy Week. There are three types of penances: 1 .- "Flagellants" and "spirits." Participants of the penances are people pre-registered with a year in advance and throughout the year have to do spiritual exercises and are always masked, and it aims to atone for their sins, not exhibitionism.
