En el Salón de Cabildos del Gobierno del Distrito Federal se entregó la medalla 1808 a reconocidos historiadores mexicanos y extranjeros como la Doctora Josefina Zoraida Vázquez, Alejandro Aura (en memoria), etc. quienes han colaborado escribiendo la historia de nuestro país.
